You have a normal CD4 count for healthy adults and teens.
MORE than 200 cells/ml but LESS than 500 cells/ml

Your CD4 count is low.
If you keep taking your ARVs every day as prescribed over time they should start to increase.
200 cells/ml or LESS

If you have HIV, a low CD4 count means that HIV has weakened your immune system.
A CD4 count of less than 200 cells/ml means that you have AIDS. With AIDS, you have a high risk of developing life threatening infections or cancers.
